Piney Hills Harmony sings at area retirement homes

Piney Hills Harmony visited Ruston retirement homes and assisted living facilities during the Christmas holidays to share their love of singing. Among the residents who enjoyed the musical treat was Jane Sherrard (above), who lives at The Arbor and Terrace. With her are chorus members Lisa Holmes, of Sharon (center), and Donna Fike, of Monroe.

Our interim director, Sheila Stepp Nugent, directs an ensemble from Piney Hills Harmony as we sing during the 2010 Christmas performance at The Arbor and Terrace in Ruston. We also sang at the Ruston Nursing & Rehab Center (formerly Longleaf Nursing Home).

Facebook page has been updated with lots of show pix

Just a note to let you know that our Facebook page has been updated with LOTS of photos from our annual show that we presented in December, "Christmas on the Bayou." Take a look by clicking here.

Meanwhile, here are a couple of overview shots that can get you in the barbershop mood. The top one shows what the chorus looked like as we sang during the first half of the show; the bottom one shows Acoustix as they performed during the second half. On Facebook we have many more photos of not only the chorus and our WONderful guest quartet, but also shots of individual members as well as pix of our three chorus quartets and special Christmas show ensemble.
